Temple University student charged in death of another student, authorities say

Temple University student Tymir Lackey, 21, has been arrested and charged with murder and related offenses in the death of Temple nursing student Milan Jones, 20, authorities say. Police described the incident as 'domestic.' Lackey has been placed on immediate suspension from the university.

Suspects in custody after Philadelphia police officer shot and injured in Kensington, authorities say

A Philadelphia police officer was shot and injured Saturday in Kensington during a traffic stop, authorities say. The suspected gunman, as well as other individuals who were in the vehicle during the traffic stop, are in custody. The injured officer is in critical condition, according to police.
