Penn Museum is hosting its Garden Jams summer concert series every Wednesday from July 10 through July 31. Each concert will cost $15 and will take place from 5-8 p.m. in the Stoner Courtyard. The events will include cocktails, food trucks and after-hours access to the museum.

A 20-year-old man died after being shot in the head early Sunday morning in Northeast Philadelphia, police say. The victim was found around 3:15 a.m. on the 1400 block of Kerper Street in Oxford Circle and died at the scene, according to authorities. Police are searching for suspects.

Picnic, the latest restaurant from Defined Hospitality, opens Wednesday, July 3, 2024, in a 19th century brewery at 2421 Martha St. in East Kensington. It boasts a wood-fired rotisserie, an oyster bar and a wine shop. Defined Hospitality also runs Kalaya, Suraya and Pizzeria Beddia.

'Jackass' star Bam Margera appeared in a Chester County court Wednesday and pled guilty to two counts of disorderly conduct stemming from an alleged altercation that took place between him and his brother in April 2023. Margera will now face six months of probation.

These lizards, like other reptiles, carry salmonella bacteria in their digestive tracts and expel it in their feces. They are not recommended as pets for children under five, elderly people or those who are immunocompromised.

For the 2024 Shakespeare in Clark Park actors will perform the bard's 'As You Like It' with shows taking place Wednesday, July 24, through Sunday, July 28 in the West Philadelphia park's open-air bowl. The free performances will take place at 7 p.m. nightly and will feature original music and poetry written through workshops leading up to the production.
