In 'Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band,' a new documentary that premiered Sunday at the Toronto International Film Festival, Springsteen's wife and bandmate Patti Scialfa said she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2018. Multiple myeloma is a rare form of blood cancer that affects the immune system, and it has caused her to take a step back from touring.
