This weekend's big broadcast will put a drawn-out, glittery end to what we call awards season. The Academy Awards, the pinnacle of filmmaking award shows more often called the Oscars, will air Sunday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. It certainly is a glitzy event, one that many dream to take part in. You might not make the invite list
this year, but you can certainly attend one of the following events in our region and
pretend you're a star. Better start practicing that speech.
All day Sunday, Davio's will serve up Oscar-inspired cocktails for $11 each: the Emma Stone, the Benedict Cumberbatch and the Reese Witherspoon. Catch the show on TVs at the bar.
