For more than three decades, The Gary Barbera Group has lived by the core value established by the Barbera Family: “take care of our guests, neighbors, and colleagues.” This enduring mission continues to guide us as the region faces the difficult challenge of responding to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
In these unprecedented times, The Gary Barbera Group is helping to keep Philly fed with donations to Philabundance.org through our “Get your Service Today and Help Keep Hunger Away” campaign. These efforts are supported by CBS 3 and ABC 6 through on-air public service announcements. We’re also also offering 10% off service for medical professionals, first responders, delivery drivers, truck drivers and restaurant workers.
We are vigilantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation around the clock and have taken extra sanitary steps doubling down on disinfecting and cleaning to provide a stress-free and healthy visit to our showroom and service center.
Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with each of the families and organizations affected by this unforeseen event. We are deeply grateful for the healthcare workers, the first responders, local communities, and the governmental agencies of Philadelphia and our Tri-State Area who are on the front line working around the clock to contain this coronavirus.
We’ve seen the impact made by Philabundance through our BarberaCares Program community efforts. Philabundance changes local lives and stretches every dollar to feed families in need. Last year alone, 26 million pounds of food were distributed by the organizaiton and its member agencies.
There are families in our community who are underserved, or perhaps, overlooked during unprecedented times like these. Right now, our beloved elderly and the immunocompromised of all ages cannot leave their homes, restaurant employees are out of jobs, hotels are on furlough, and there is food insecurity amongst many of our neighbors and fellow citizens.
Gary Barbera on the Boulevard has made a donation to Philabundance’s ‘Leading the Fight against Hunger’ cause for every Select Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Chrysler, and CPOV and Previously Enjoyed Barbera Vehicle sold to drive hunger away from our communities. This timely donation to Philabundance is in honor of our clients’ purchases because we value them for choosing us while supporting our local neighborhoods.
