Standing 6'8" tall and weighing 310 pounds, Elijah Tillman isn't exactly the type of player you'd expect to hit a game-winning three-pointer. In fact, before Tuesday night's game against Philadelphia's University of the Sciences, the senior at Goldey-Beacon College in Wilmington, Delaware, hadn't attempted a three all season long.
But with two seconds left in overtime and a tied game, Tillman receivied an inbounds pass at the opponent's foul line and chucked the ball down the court with a defender's hand in his face. And he made the freaking shot.
HOLY BLEEP! Elijah Tillman's three-quarter-court heave lifts Men's Hoops to incredible 71-68 win at USciences. #GBCLightning @_GBCHoops
