The University City Arts League is gearing up for its 7th Annual Chili Bowl Sunday, Nov. 8. This tradition brings friends and neighbors out to enjoy comfort food and company all in service of a good cause.
At the chili bowl, guests pay $20 and in turn receive a beautiful handmade ceramic bowl made right in the University City Arts League studio which they can fill up with scratch-made chili. This year, Corner Bakery, Tortas Fontera, City Tap House, Rx the Farmacy, Harvest, Qdoba, Distrito, The Restaurant School, Green Line Cafe, Milk and Honey and Cafe Renata have donated the chili.
Guests with a bowl in hand will get endless chili during the event. Children who accompany an adult buying a bowl can eat for free. The handmade bowls are, of course, in limited supply, so be sure to arrive early to ensure you receive one.
All proceeds from the event benefit University City Arts League.
