Uber has brought kittens to offices, given free rides to inebriated party-goers in Manayunk and even delivered ice cream on demand to the masses. Its latest marketing experiment: delivering free study breaks to stressed-out students.
As finals week approaches, UberJAVA will be delivering free study kits of coffee and pastries from Saxbys. Students can use the app to order java and warm pastries or muffins for up to eight people at the push of a button.
The program will be available at Drexel on Tuesday (Dec. 8), Temple on Wednesday and the University of Pennsylvania on Monday, always between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m.
To get the coffee, just open the app and request the "UberJAVA" option.
