After a few weeks as the topic du jour on local sports talk radio, Sam Bradford is sticking around in Philadelphia for a few more years. As hard as it is to believe, people had some opinions on the subject. Here they are:
Excited for you man keep balling #sammyboy https://t.co/fRc7U73nJg

So in summary, the Eagles paid Sam Bradford $18mm/season on the strength of one 7-game stretch that wasn't even impressive.

This Bradford deal makes tons of sense. Two years, limited commitment for both sides with health issues, new coach, etc.
— Les Bowen (@LesBowen) March 1, 2016
Props to Howie. Market clearly wasn't there outside of Philly. Not much different from Foles deal with Rams IIRC

Waiting on numbers, but the fact #Eagles signed Sam Bradford to only a 2-year deal suggests they played their cards well.

Sam Bradford is really good at selling Sam Bradford https://t.co/bBS76ZzIxC

The Eagles and Sam Bradford were smart to take a chance on each other. https://t.co/c0Nuwb43au

Sam Bradford celebrated by upgrading his sleeves. pic.twitter.com/L8x20AfvF6

Bradford $18m/yr, per @AdamSchefter. Makes sense. Trial period for Bradford/Pederson on both sides.

Even average QB's have real leverage in today's #NFL. #sadbuttrue
— Louis Riddick (@LRiddickESPN) March 1, 2016
Win/win for Eagles and Bradford. Exactly what should've happened. No surprise here.

Bradford is NFL’s Rorschach test People see what they want.
— Gregg Rosenthal (@greggrosenthal) March 1, 2016
Eagles lost leverage on Bradford when not demanding contract extension as part of trade. Couldn't make deal after that, now paying for it.
— Andrew Brandt (@AndrewBrandt) March 1, 2016
I don’t understand https://t.co/SCVvj7xFjg
— Bill Barnwell (@billbarnwell) March 1, 2016
Two year deal for Bradford means the Eagles could still be drafting one. I hear they want one in this draft
— Pete Prisco (@PriscoCBS) March 1, 2016
Withholding comment Bradford deal til see full contract. No 1 gets 72% of deal guar, or $26M guar on just a 2yr deal. Color me a skeptic
— Jason La Canfora (@JasonLaCanfora) March 1, 2016
2yr deal for Bradford???? Looks like Howie won this battle!!!!
— Ike Reese (@Ike58Reese) March 1, 2016
I don't love Bradford, but at least he's not McNabb
— FakeWIPCaller (@FakeWIPCaller) March 1, 2016
Howie legit pulled off what I thought he couldn't.

We can agree on this: no one in sports has made so much for do little as Sam Bradford.
— Glen Macnow (@RealGlenMacnow) March 1, 2016
Fans should b happy #Eagles signed Sam Bradford. 2 years gives team time to make decision beyond 2 yrs. Agent knew not big Mkt @FOX29philly
— Howard Eskin (@howardeskin) March 1, 2016
Former #Eagles RB @36westbrook doesn't think Sam Bradford is worth $15 million or more. #NFL https://t.co/wj1KKBaTie pic.twitter.com/WzDGeDXdV1

It's legitimately amazing that people still think there's some unknown "upside" remaining to Bradford. We've seen his best, it's not great.
— EaglesRewind (@EaglesRewind) March 1, 2016
Two year deal suggests that none of the other teams even took his #LastSevenGames seriously.

It's fine. It's fine. WHO CARES ITS FINE
