The Pennsylvania SPCA and Tria, a popular hangout for wine and cheese lovers, will host two BYOP (bring your own pet) Happy Hours this summer. Attendees are encouraged to bring their dogs to drink and dine outside.
Those who normally limit happy hour to one glass may want to indulge on June 28 or July 12 because for each drink sold from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tria will donate $1 to the PSPCA.
At both BYOP Happy Hours, the PSPCA will also bring pups from the shelter to enjoy time outside and, hopefully, inspire adoptions.
The first dog-friendly happy hour will be held at Fitler Square's Tria, while the second will be at Washington Square West's Tria location.
Besides getting to cheers with furry friends, attendees will be able to drink dog-themed wines picked specifically for the occasion. Featured wines include Blackwater Wine’s Chenin Blanc "The Underdog" and Red Heads Studio Cabernet Blend "Yard Dog."
