There's not a lot of certainty about the weather this weekend – will there be lots of snow? What is certain, though, is that this weekend is packed with fun things to do.
Friday, there's a party at the Barnes. Saturday, there's a party at the Crystal Tea Room, a fundraiser at Monk's Cafe and a Lunar New Year festival at the Penn Museum. Plus, a lot of museums are commemorating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with special programming.

Party at Barnes Foundation includes after-hours access to collection
Friday evening there will be a big party at the Barnes, where attendees can explore the impressive art collection then dance the night away. DJs will be doing their best to make it feel like a street festival is happening inside the museum.
Monk's Cafe throwing fundraiser for Camp Fire Relief Fund
On Saturday, help those affected by the most destructive wildfire in California history. It's easy, just buy a beer at Monk's Cafe in Rittenhouse between noon and 5 p.m. One hundred percent of all draft sales will be donated.
Penn Museum celebrating Lunar New Year with festival
There will be lion dancers, K-pop music and a martial arts demonstration at the museum Saturday. Families will enjoy the daytime activities, then in the evening things get more adult with cocktails and dancing.
Dance the night away at Hair O' The Dog with T-Pain
The 25th Hair O' the Dog will take place on Saturday at the Crystal Tea Room. Each year, the party benefits a local charity. For 2019, event organizers selected the Morris Animal Refuge.
Visit Chaddsford Winery's "Winter Wine-derland" this January
Saturday and Sunday, there will be ice carvings, specialty cocktails, live music, food trucks, fire pits and wine tastings.
2019 marks the 22nd Lambertville-New Hope Winter Festival
The New Jersey and Pennsylvania towns are connected by a toll-free bridge over the Delaware River with a pedestrian walkway.
Visitors to the festival, which lasts nine days, can explore everything Lambertville and New Hope have to offer.
Celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at these 5 places
Local museums and attractions, such as the Museum of the American Revolution and Philadelphia Museum of Art, will commemorate the civil rights icon this weekend with special programming and discounted admission.
