Thanksgiving is undoubtedly a day for "stuffing" your face with delicious goodness.
Turkey, potatoes, pies. The food list goes on and on.
But for some, the leftovers the next day are even better. And most likely, you will have plenty to work with on Friday.

Wine Infused Thanksgiving Leftover Empanadas - I Can Cook That

On her blog, I Can Cook That, local food blogger Kaitlin Lunny shares a recipe that adds a little spice to your Thanksgiving favorites. She credits Azul Argentine Bistro in New York for coming up with a way to use an Argentine red wine called Clos de los Siete, along with some spices, to create a Thanksgiving leftover empanada.

Using a leftover acorn squash, she makes a smoothie rich in vitamin A, omegas and probiotics with a taste "reminiscent of a slice of creamy pumpkin pie."

Local blogger Baker Bettie shares a recipe that uses your Thanksgiving leftovers for a satisfying Black Friday breakfast egg bake. She suggests cracking some eggs over leftovers – sweet potatoes, in this case – along with cheddar cheese, bacon and rosemary in an oven-proof dish and putting it all under the broiler for a few minutes.
