Heading into the city for a day or planning a getaway at the shore this weekend?
You'll want to keep an eye on possible showers and thunderstorms that could pop up at times Saturday and Sunday. Both days are set to be warm and humid, with temperatures nearing 90 on Sunday.
Any showers or thunderstorms would most likely hit at some point Saturday afternoon and mid-day Sunday.
The mercury should stay in the low- to mid-80s throughout next week, with temperatures down by about five degrees or so at the Jersey Shore and even cooler in the Poconos.
But Monday looks set to be a washout wherever you are in the Delaware Valley, with a passing cold front likely bringing thunderstorms throughout the day. Storms could stick around into the evening and nighttime hours.
Clouds and another chance of storms before 9 a.m. Tuesday make way for sunny skies throughout the rest of the day, while Wednesday could bring another chance of storms.
