WWE SmackDown: James Ellsworth strikes again

Coming off a fantastic TLC pay-per-view on Sunday night, SmackDown headed to Houston’s Toyota Center on Tuesday night. What would the fallout be from James Ellsworth’s actions in the main event at TLC? Would he have a chance to win the WWE World Championship? How would Dean Ambrose react?

WWE Raw: Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks look to make history again

Raw came to us from the campus of the University of Texas at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin Monday night, and WWE was looking to add some momentum from last Monday’s great television to Sunday night’s great TLC pay-per-view into another strong week of television this week.

WWE TLC review: James Ellsworth’s shocking turn ices terrific Styles-Ambrose clash

All the championships on the SmackDown brand were on the line Sunday night at the American Airlines Center in Dallas for the annual TLC pay-per-view. New champions were crowned, shocking moments were had and WWE’s blue brand put on another great show. There was little doubt they would, however.

WWE TLC preview: Styles and Ambrose feud elevated to new heights

The SmackDown brand will bring some TLC to the American Airlines Center in Dallas. No, I’m not talking about tender loving care; I’m talking about tables, ladders and chairs. The December pay-per-view has become a staple in WWE and the men and women from SmackDown get to reap the benefits of one of the more extreme pay-per-views of the year.

WWE SmackDown: Wyatt, Orton, American Alpha vie for tag title shot

Five days ahead of their next pay-per-view, TLC this Sunday, SmackDown invaded the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, S.C. for their go-home show. This pay-per-view has been shaped rather nicely within the last month and all of the feuds heading into Sunday make sense. Well, maybe with the exception of one. But we’ll get to that later.

WWE Raw: Sasha Banks reaches the top for the third time

The path to Roadblock: End of the Line was in full swing on Monday night for WWE’s red brand. With SmackDown’s TLC pay-per-view coming up this Sunday [I’ll have a preview here later this week for that], Raw was looking to make some waves and finally put on a quality show that the brand has been lacking for months.

WWE SmackDown: James Ellsworth given a chance to win SmackDown contract in Ladder Match

The 901st episode of SmackDown emanated from the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Ontario Tuesday night, and the build to the brand’s TLC pay-per-view in less than two weeks was full throttle. A lot of these feuds are continuing and need to be freshened up a bit. I’d suggest ending all of these feuds at TLC and having new and fresh feuds build to the Royal Rumble and the next SmackDown-only pay-per-view.

WWE Raw: Rollins, Owens put on clinic; Goldberg enters Royal Rumble

For the third night in a row, the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario hosted a WWE live event - this time being Monday Night Raw. Coming off a huge Survivor Series pay-per-view, a show I was quite high on and thought delivered well to the fans, I was interested to see how the Raw brand would respond not only to the Goldberg-Lesnar ending, but also to losing the big five-on-five men’s elimination match to SmackDown while winning the women’s and tag teams’ elimination matches respectively.

NXT TakeOver Toronto: Samoa Joe makes history

For the first time, NXT’s TakeOver event crossed the north border into Toronto, Canada at the Air Canada Centre. The Toronto crowd is always known for being loud and raucous, and it didn’t disappoint on Saturday night.
