WWE superstars invaded the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Fla. Tuesday night for the first edition of SmackDown of 2017. The show was highlighted by a main event title match, a contract signing and a big heel turn (I think) that we’ve been waiting a long time to see.

The Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla. was the site for Raw on Monday night, just four weeks out from the January staple, the Royal Rumble. The build to this event started well before the new year hit, and Monday night began what will be an interesting month of WWE television.

WWE invaded the Allstate Arena in Chicago for the second time in 24 hours on Tuesday night, though the superstars were a bit different as it was SmackDown’s turn to leave the Chicago faithful with some hope heading into 2017. This SmackDown show was stacked with three title matches and the return of John Cena to television after months away, which on paper already sounds a hell of a lot better than what Raw gave us on Monday night.

The PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh was the site for WWE’s last pay-per-view of 2016. Roadblock: End of the Line certainly looked good on paper, and on Sunday night, it delivered in some key matches that will be talked about for a while.

This Sunday night’s pay-per-view live from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh will be a little bit different than last March’s WWE Network special before WrestleMania. Roadblock: End of the Line will be a Raw-brand exclusive event and features some new matches, where the tagline, “End of the Line” almost doesn’t make sense.

The SmackDown brand invaded the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. on Tuesday for a big day of television. Earlier in the day, WWE taped their 14th annual Tribute to the Troops special, which will air on the USA Network Wednesday night. Then a few hours later, SmackDown Live took the air.

Philadelphia was the epicenter of the WWE Universe on Monday night, as Raw invaded the Wells Fargo Center. Just six days from the brand’s next pay-per-view, Roadblock: End of the Line, the Philly faithful were treated to a show that revolved around the brand’s tag team championships.
