Contaminated romaine lettuce from Arizona has been linked to more than 80 cases of E. coli infection in 19 states, with the most reported cases in Pennsylvania and New Jersey according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Salads may not seem like a common food for toddlers, but this outbreak most definitely poses a great risk to our children and pregnant women.

Obtaining health insurance for our little ones, knowing they will be covered for wellness visits plus safeguarded in the event of the unexpected, is one less thing for us parents to worry about.

Two to six weeks after little ones have a viral infection (like a cold or diarrhea) they can experience joint discomfort, most usually in their hips. The exact reason is not fully understood, but it seems to be a result of the substances made by the immune system to fight off the infection.
