South Jersey-based chain Spirit Halloween is opening 10 Spirit Christmas holiday pop-up stores, starting Oct. 18 with the flagship location in Hamilton Township. Other locations will include Marlton. The store will have holiday decor and apparel as well as a gingerbread village and photos with Santa Claus.

Teenager killed in triple shooting in North Philadelphia, police say

A 17-year-old was killed in a triple shooting that took place around 12:30 a.m. Sunday at a gathering on the 600 block of North Franklin Place in North Philadelphia, police said. A 16-year-old and 21-year-old were also injured in the shooting, authorities said. Police believe the suspected shooters were a group of young men who fled the scene in a stolen black BMW.

Atlantic City Aquarium will reopen in December after being closed since the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic and facing several delays in repair work, Mayor Marty Small announced Monday. Pittsburgh man, N.J. woman charged in connection with last weekend's car meetups across Philadelphia

Alexis Boyce, 20, of Englishtown, New Jersey, and Albert Woynar, 18, of Pittsburgh, have been charged in connection with the large illegal car meetups that took place across Philadelphia last weekend. Two other people were previously arrested in connection with the meetups.
