Women who have depression and breast cancer are three times more likely to die than women who have neither condition, new research shows. Also, those who have only one of the condition are about 1.5 times more likely to die. Researchers say greater collaborative care is needed to address the physical and psychological needs of patients with these conditions.

Police are searching for suspects after a World War I monument in Northeast Philadelphia was vandalized Friday night. On Saturday at 10:45 a.m., police received reports of vandalism at the Burholme World War I Memorial located on Rising Sun Avenue in Burholme. Authorities found red graffiti on the monument, with the message 'Hamas is here' written, and the investigation is ongoing.

Plane crashes near Atlantic City, but pilot comes away without injuries

A Cirrus airplane crashed into a wooded area in Galloway Township, New Jersey on Wednesday afternoon. The pilot, John Austin Bryan, was the only person on board and was uninjured, police said. His plane's engine began experiencing engine trouble shortly after taking off from the Atlantic City International Airport.
