Kelly Monaco, a Philadelphia native, is reportedly leaving 'General Hospital' after 21 years with the soap opera. The actress has played Sam McCall since 2003, and reports say her character will be killed off this fall. Monaco grew up in Philly, before her family moved to the Poconos. She became the first winner of 'Dancing with the Stars' in 2005.

A seagull was reportedly injured after a kid threw a baseball at it in front of the ICONA hotel in Avalon. The bird had a broken wing, according to Shore Animal Control, which was called to pick it up. The company is asking any witnesses to contact police.

Apple juice sold at Walmart recalled due to arsenic levels

The FDA has recalled more than 9,500 cases of Great Value 8-ounce apple juice bottles, which were sold in six packs at Walmart stores in 25 states, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. The juice was found to contain inorganic arsenic levels above the action level set in industry guidance.
