A SEPTA subway departs south on the Broad Street Line from the City Hall Station.
Update: SEPTA has restored southbound service between Oregon and AT&T Stations.
Earlier: The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority has suspended service Monday to the Democratic National Convention on the Broad Street Line.
The transit agency cited security measures on the first day of the event as the reason for the change.
Southbound service will not reach AT&T Station where riders can walk over to the event. Instead, service will end at Oregon Station until further notice.

Riders are still able to board northbound trains at AT&T Station.
According to SEPTA staff, police activity forced a shutdown due to demonstrations near the Wells Fargo Center.
