Summer is full of beer festivals and unique outdoor gatherings, but the Bare Beach Beer Bash might just take the cake this year. Held at the clothing-optional Poconos resort Sunny Rest, the June 27 event is actually no-clothes-allowed.
Yes, that's right: nudity is required in the beer festival area, as well as in the resort's pools and hot tubs. Now in its fourth year, the event includes live music by "A Pair of Nuts" (seriously), a pool party with music from BDM3, food, and of course, beer. Local and national breweries will provide unlimited samples for ticket holders.
Attendees are encouraged to stay for the late-night pool party with more live music from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., or camp out for the entire weekend in one of the resort's rooms or campsites. If you're going to try something new, you might as well let it all hang out, right?
