Philadelphia Eagles starting left tackle Jason Peters will be back with the team in 2017, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
There was some speculation otherwise, but LT Jason Peters, set to make $9.95M base salary, will be back with #Eagles in ’17. Not a surprise.

According to a source, Peters did not take a pay cut. His salary for the 2017 season will be $10,450,000, not $9,950,000.
Previously, it was reported by Adam Caplan of ESPN that the Eagles approached Jason Peters about taking a pay cut. However, with so many holes on the roster, if the Eagles released Peters, offensive tackle would instantaneously become every bit as big a need as wide receiver or cornerback, perhaps even more so.
The Eagles had almost no leverage. If Peters were to take a pay cut, he would have been doing so out of the kindness of his own heart. That didn't happen.
