According to Adam Caplan of ESPN, former Bengals RB Cedric Peerman visited with the Eagles yesterday, the same day they signed WR Seyi Ajirotutu and CB E.J. Biggers.

Like Ajirotutu, Peerman is an accomplished special teams player. In 2014, Peerman had 14 solo special teams tackles, which tied him for second in the NFL. For reference, Eagles special teams ace Chris Maragos led the Eagles with 12. In 2013, Peerman had 11 special teams tackles.
The Eagles have made their special teams units a major priority. Since Chip Kelly took over as head coach, the Eagles have signed a plethora of renowned special teams players. Maragos, Ajirotutu, Bryan Braman, James Casey, Chris Prosinski, Darren Sproles, Brandon Bair, and Trey Burton are a few names that come to mind. It has paid dividends, as the Eagles easily had the best special teams units in the NFL in 2014.
Peerman has limited experience as a running back in the Bengals' regular offense, but when he has gotten his chances, he has run for a 5.2 career average yards per carry. If the Eagles sign him, he will be competition for #4 RB Chris Polk.
