West Goshen Police have located the striking vehicle and identified the driver in a hit-and-run incident that occurred Sunday afternoon, seriously injuring a Philadelphia man.
Investigators say the incident happened around 12:29 a.m. Sunday morning on South High Street. Police responded and found the victim, 21-year-old Sayid Murphy, of Philadelphia, lying in the street's center turn lane, according to NBC 10.
Murphy was taken to Paoli Memorial Hospital for treatment, police said.
The striking vehicle, a green 2001 Dodge Caravan, was seen fleeing south on South High Street toward Route 202. Police were able to locate and impound the vehicle later on Sunday.
The suspect was also identified and was scheduled to give interview, investigators confirmed.
