Philadelphia police are investigating after a man was fatally shot early Sunday morning in Kensington.
According to authorities, the shooting occurred just after 4 a.m. on Amber and Birch streets, NBC 10 reports.
The victim, an unidentified 33-year-old man, was sitting in his parked car with the motor running when a suspect fatally shot him in the head, police said. According to 6 ABC, the suspect struck the man multiple times with shots from automatic weapon.
Medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made as police attempt to determine a motive in the shooting.
