It's that time of year again. Linvilla Orchards in Media, PA, has apples ready for picking. The orchard is open daily, from 8 a.m. until 6:45 p.m.
For hand-picked fruit, just head to the orchard, grab one of the available picking boxes and start heading down the different rows to find ripe red, green and yellow apples.
New this year, beginning Sept. 10, there will be no minimum and no token required to pick fruit. The old system required purchasing a $5 token.
Check Linvilla's website to see what types of apples are ready for picking. Honeycrisp apples are some of the first to season.
