June 14, 2016
On June 16, the Philadelphia History Museum in Old City will host a garden cocktail party with 1970s flair. The retro soiree will feature DJs spinning '70s hits and an outdoor projection of 70s-era Philadelphia. The event celebrates the museum's 75th anniversary.
The main attraction, though, is the food and drink. Panorama will serve bites, Campo’s Deli will provide sandwiches and El Rey will bring appetizers.
Vodka and lemonade cocktails by Philadelphia Distilling will be available, along with summer beers from Dock Street Brewing Co., St. Benjamin’s Brewery and 2nd Story Brewing Co.
For those with a sweet tooth, a wine and Tastykake pairing will be provided by Penns Woods Winery or guests can enjoy water ice from Tranzillis.
Tickets online are $30 per person or $25 for History Museum members. Non-members can save by buying two tickets at a time for $50 total. Limited tickets will be available at the door.
While there, look out for raffles taking place throughout the History Museum’s Marian Mitchell Garden, as well.
