Check those tickets, Pennsylvania lottery players.
The one-year expiration dates are nearing for two prize-winning tickets sold in Philadelphia.
The first is a jackpot-winning Treasure Hunt ticket worth $84,436. It was sold at the 7-Eleven located at 4201 Walnut St. for the Feb. 18, 2014 drawing. The winning ticket correctly matched all five balls drawn, 02-04-06-11-21. A claim must be filed with the Lottery by Wednesday, Feb. 18.
The second is a jackpot-winning Quinto evening drawing ticket worth $50,000. It was sold at the 7-Eleven at 1501 Cecil B. Moore Ave. for the March 5, 2014 drawing. The winning ticket correctly matched all five balls drawn, 7-2-2-5-4. A claim must be filed with the Lottery by Thursday, March 5.
Tickets can be checked using self-service scanners located at retailers and on the Lottery self-service play terminals.
Lottery prizes that are unclaimed or expired remain in the Lottery Fund and are used to support programs benefiting older Pennsylvanians.
Claimants are encouraged to sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a timely claim at any of Lottery's seven area offices or at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County.
All Lottery offices will be closed Monday for Presidents' Day.
