One man has died after a truck crashed into Lower Moreland High School in Montgomery County on Saturday afternoon.
Police said the incident occurred around 1:50 p.m. at the 500 block of Red Lion Road, according to CBS 3.
Witnesses reported that they saw the truck accelerate toward a wall of the school without signs of braking. It plowed through the wall into a maintenance supply room.
Several hundred people were inside the school at the time of the accident to prepare for a fundraiser musical. The school's power was cut following the crash.
The victim's identity has not been released and the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
CBS 3 reports that crews were expected to remain at the scene overnight as they try to determine how to remove the truck.
