The Sixers have made their splash, and will now have a starting 5 of players all averaging 17 points per game or more.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnaroski, Philadelphia has made a move to acquire Tobias Harris from the Clippers very early Wednesday morning. They also are bringing in bench pieces Boban Marjanovic and Mike Scott.
Sources: Clippers and Sixers have agreed to trade Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanovic, Mike Scott for Landry Shamet, Wilson Chandler, Mike Muscala, 2020 first-rounder, 2021 unprotected 1st via Miami and two second rounders.

First the bad: the Sixers are losing two first round picks in the deal, including the pick from Miami they acquired when they traded back to take Zhaire Smith in the draft. Philly also parts with late first round steal Landry Shamet, mini J.J. Redick, in the deal — a budding fan favorite.
But the good, they will have one of the best starting line ups in all of basketball, have a legitimate back up big man in Marjonovic (and his 7-foot-10 wingspan) and a solid bench piece in Mike Scott, and look to be on the mend as youngsters Smith and Patton are starting to play ball. They also still have Markelle Fultz on the team — which could mean there is another deal to be made, or they are holding out hope he returns to the rotation.
Here's a look at their projected starters now:
Points | Other stat | |
Ben Simmons | 17.0 | 9.4 rpg, 8.0 apg |
J.J. Redick | 18.3 | 8 3p attempts per gm |
Jimmy Butler | 18.9 | 4.8 rpg |
Tobias Harris | 20.9 | 7.8 rpg, 49.6 fg % |
Joel Embiid | 27.4 | 13.5 rpg |
