Police say Graham Dixon, a Harriton High School freshman, slipped off the roof of his family's Gladwyne home, NBC 10 reported.
Dixon's high school is offering counseling to staff and other students.
"Words cannot convene not only the extreme grief and sadness that his passing brings but also all the great memories that we all will remember him by," the Harriton High School Student Council wrote in a statement on their website.
Police did not say what the teen was doing when he fell off the roof but ruled it an accident, NBC 10 reported.
