According to MLB Pipeline, pitchers Mark Appel and Zach Eflin are the 5th and 13th-ranked prospects in the Phillies system, respectively. They both have a chance to pitch in the big leagues.
And against the current Phillies in the Futures Game on Thursday in Reading, both of those guys got hit around pretty good:
As it turns out, Appel and Eflin seem to have a sense of humor about the whole thing. After all, laughter is the best medicine:
