A man who was shot during a home invasion in Montgomery County Sunday has been identified as authorities continue to search for a suspect.
Police responded to the scene of the shooting around 11 p.m. when prosecutors say a man was found on the lawn of a home on Philmont Avenue in Lower Moreland Township.
The man, identified as 53-year-old Kevin Brown, was rushed to Abington Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Brown died of a gunshot wound to the neck, according to an autopsy performed Monday, and the manner of death was determined to be homicide.
