The Philadelphia Eagles will take on the Lions in Detroit today, where they were absolutely obliterated last year on Thanksgiving. The Birds are playing far better than they were this time last year, and will face a Lions team that has been ravaged by injuries to key players.

Our staff of writers all see a comfortable Eagles win today, despite this game having something of "trap game" feel to it. In reality, while you can never say that a 3-0 team is facing a "must win" matchup, this is kind of a "have to win" game for how bad and banged up the Lions are, if that makes sense. #Analysis.
On paper (or in our case, online print), the Eagles match up very well against this Lions team.
Here are the other games around the NFL today:
Early afternoon games:
- Patriots at Browns
- Bears at Colts
- Titans at Dolphins
- Redskins at Ravens
- Texans at Vikings
- Jets at Steelers
Late afternoon games:
- Falcons at Broncos
- Bengals at Cowboys
- Bills at Rams
- Chargers at Raiders
Sunday Night:
- Giants at Packers
- Trump vs. Hillary
The obvious games of importance to the Eagles are Redskins-Ravens, Bengals-Cowboys, and Giants-Packers. All three of the Eagles' NFC East rivals are underdogs today. And then of course the Sleevie Wonder-led Vikings will be a team to watch all season, as the Eagles own their first round pick, which is looking like it will be deep in the back half of the draft.
In case you missed them, for the gambling degenerates, here are my Week 5 NFL picks.
