Kevin Bacon will be a cast member in Netflix's upcoming limited series "Sirens," a dark comedy tackling the issues of class and power.
The Philadelphia native will play, Peter Kell, the billionaire husband to Julianne Moore's character. Moore is one of the show's lead actresses along with Meghann Fahy and Milly Alcock. Netflix describes Bacon's character as an avid outdoorsman and occasional stoner from an old-money family.

Alson joining Bacon in the series is Glenn Howerton, a star of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," which he developed with Rob McElhenney. Howerton will play Ethan Corbin II, a friend of the Kells who is recklessly spending his trust fund money.
"Sirens" is created by playwright and screenwriter Molly Smith Metzle based on her play "Elemeno Pea." Metzler has worked on Netflix shows previously: She created 2021 miniseries "Maid" and in 2017 was an executive story editor on "Orange is the New Black." She also has written multiple episodes of the Showtime series "Shameless."
"Sirens" takes place all during one weekend at the Kell's beach estate. Moore's Michaela Kell is a socialite living a lavish but cult-like lifestyle that has become seductive to Alcock's character Simone, who works for Kell.
Last year, Bacon appeared in the apocalyptic Netflix original "Leave the World Behind.," and on Wednesday, the streaming platform released "Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F," starring Bacon as the antagonist. He also stars in the slasher film "MaXXXine," which hits theaters Friday.
