June 21, 2016
On June 30, the Free Library of Philadelphia will host a comic book workshop for teens at the Parkway Central branch. During the class, lead by artist Shawn Alleyne, teens will learn the basics for creating a comic.
The beginners workshop will focus on story development, character design and building a unique universe for characters to interact within. Different creative exercises will be used to help budding comic book artists unleash their potential.
While the workshop is free, registration is required.
