UPDATE [7:18 p.m.] - The pregame ceremony the Flyers unveiled in Monday night was something to behold. First, there was a light show that looked like something straight out of an EDM festival -- and it couldn't have been any cooler.

Then, the team showed a video tribute to Ed Snider and had a moment of silence.
Old friend Kate Smith was called on to join Lauren Hart in their version of "God Bless America." In case you're wondering, Kate's still got it.

And when Lauren Hart turned around to leave the ice, you could see that she was wearing a No. 67 jersey with Snider on the back. It was pretty incredible, to say the least.
The Flyers players decided to honor Mr. Snider in their own way, by scoring a goal just 57 seconds into the game.

Tonight promises to be an emotional night in South Philly, as the Flyers take on the Washington Capitals in Game 3 of their first-round playoff series. Down two games to none and desperately in search of a win, the Orange and Black are also honoring Ed Snider prior to the game.
As expected, the organization that Snider built doesn’t appear to be cutting any corners in honoring him.
To begin, as fans are walking into the Wells Fargo Center, a giant banner of Snider is there to greet them:
Every fan will also receive a shirt that features a pretty awesome take on the Flyers logo:

Then during the game, you will see Snider’s initials behind each net:

As for the pregame festivities, well, there will be lights:
Pregame should be crazy. There are bracelets on every seat that will light up based on location. pic.twitter.com/Tb8Dwr1cw5

Don't know what Flyers are planning, but every seat has some sort of remote controlled light they were just testing. pic.twitter.com/3MVYz3XOeV

Win or lose, it should be quite an evening. We will have video of the pregame tribute later tonight.
