Christian McCaffrey could miss some more time. Be on Jordan Mason watch.

Did your first round fantasy pick play in Week 1? For a lot of team managers, the nightmare scenario played out when Christian McCaffrey was a late scratch from Monday Night Football.

What's the latest on the Niners' star running back? And when will other injured fantasy studs like Puka Nacua or De'Von Achane see the field again?

Here's a rundown of some of the latest injury news to fantasy relevant players:

Christian McCaffrey, RB, 49ers

Nursing calf and Achilles injuries Monday night, the No. 1 overall fantasy pick stayed on the sidelines while Jordan Mason had quite a day replacing him. There might not be a better waiver pick up than Mason and if he's available in your league, make a claim and invest in him ASAP. McCaffrey probably won't miss the whole year, but he could miss another game or two and Mason was a beast with 29 touches and 152 yards from scrimmage against the Jets.

Jordan Love, QB, Packers

At the end of Green Bay's loss to the Eagles, Love hurt his knee and while it was not a torn ACL, it is serious enough that he is expected to miss between three and six weeks of action. He will not be added to the team's IR, meaning they are optimistic in the three-game window. Malik Willis will be the starter for the Packers in Week 2.

Puka Nacua, WR, Rams

A PCL injury to his knee not only knocked the second year star out of the Rams' season opener, it also will reportedly put him on the team's IR, keeping him out for at least the next four games. It appears that the biggest beneficiary of this was fellow star wideout Cooper Kupp, who set a personal best for most receptions Sunday.

De'Von Achane, Raheem Mostert, RB, Dolphins

We'll look at Achane first, who had a huge Week 1 but did not practice (by estimation) Monday ahead of Miami's Thursday night game. He has an ankle injury and may not suit up. Mostert did not practice either and has a chest injury. If both are out in Week 2, Jeff Wilson and rookie Jaylen Wright could be startable for fantasy teams.

Kenneth Walker III, RB, Seahawks

Another talented running back might miss Week 2, with Walker nursing an abdomen injury he sustained in the Seahawks' opener. He told reporters he would be good to go, but we'll learn more later in the week from practice reports.

Rome Odunze, WR, Bears

Chicago's rookie sustained a sprain to his MCL after making just one catch in his NFL debut. His ailment is listed as a week-to-week and there's a good chance he misses Week 2.

Jake Ferguson, TE, Cowboys

The Dallas tight end hurt his knee but could be back on the field before the end of September, reports say. With him out, the workload for wideout Brandin Cooks and tight end Luke Schoonmaker should increase.

David Njoku, TE, Browns

A high ankle sprain could have Njoku out for a few weeks, making backup Jordan Akins somewhat fantasy relevant in his absence.
