It’s that time of year again, when drinking-age adults get to don their best (or get away with their most scandalous!) ensembles – the Hair O’ the Dog – where people come from near and far to dance, toss back stiff drinks, and do so knowing their admission fee went towards a good cause.
This year’s HOD will be held at the Fillmore in Northern Liberties, where headliner and Grammy Award-winner Lil Jon ("Yeah!") will be planning to get everybody “Crunk,” where guests will surely “Get Low,” where ladies will shake their “Salt Shaker,” and – by the end of the night – everyone will feel like they’ll need to “Go to Church.” (What, too much?)
Music producer and DJ Dillon Francis will open up for Lil Jon, along with RIAA Platinum and Gold recording artist Vassy, Philly’s own Rozes, and much more.
Metrospect Events, Chorus Communications and Jenna Communications invite all Philadelphians to the 23rd annual event, proceeds of which will benefit Bianca’s Kids, a New Jersey-based charity that helps meet the needs of children who have been displaced by the local foster system, struck by tragedy or affected by disability.
Partygoers will enjoy top-shelf libations, gourmet fare provided by Wolfgang Puck Catering and live entertainment. They’re encouraged to use hashtag #HOD2017 for social media posts.
