Sorely lacking quality at the wide receiver position, the Philadelphia Eagles traded for Tennessee Titans WR Dorial Green-Beckham this morning, sending OT Dennis Kelly to the Titans in return.

A season ago, Green-Beckham had 32 catches for 549 yards (an impressive 17.2 yards per reception), and 4 touchdown receptions as a rookie. He was the 40th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Green-Beckham comes with very serious off-the-field concerns. In NFL.com's draft preview of Green-Beckham, the following is listed under his weaknesses:

Suspect work ethic. Awareness of footwork near sideline an issue. Considered a problem child at Missouri. Suspended twice by Missouri and arrested twice for marijuana-related incidents. Kicked off team at Missouri in April 2014 after details of his alleged role in an alleged burglary were released by Columbia, Mo., police. He allegedly shoved a female student down some stairs during the alleged incident, but no charges were filed. Missed entire 2014 season.

The Eagles have gotten poor play from their receiving corps all offseason, beginning in OTAs, and carrying through minicamp, training camp, and the first preseason game. Green-Beckham gives the Eagles a big (6'5, 237), fast (4.49 in the 40), talented down-the-field threat that they currently lack.

Kelly, meanwhile, was a former fifth-round pick of the Eagles in the 2012 NFL Draft. He played in 30 games for the Eagles, starting 15.
