Over the weekend, our own Jimmy Kempski wrote about the Eagles having the best Super Bowl odds according to one Atlantic City sports book. Of course, that's likely bolstered by the hometown betting public, as they find themselves still second behind the New England Patriots in many places.
However, before you can make it to the Super Bowl, you have to make the playoffs. And, according to OddsShark.com, the Eagles are tied with the Minnesota Vikings for the best odds in the NFC (-260). They also have the third-best odds in the entire NFL behind the Steelers (-550) and the New England Patriots, who, thanks in part to an incredibly weak AFC East, have far and away the best odds (-1500).

OAK +165
PIT -550
PHI -260
SF +135
SEA +220
TB +425
TEN +165
WSH +375
To make this a little easier, and since the odds have a lot to do with the division in which a team plays, let's take a look at it a different way. Based on the above odds, here's a look at how the playoff picture should look at the end of the season:
EAST | NORTH | SOUTH | WEST |
PHI | MIN | NO | LAR |
DAL | GB | ATL | SF |
NYG | DET | CAR | SEA |
WSH | CHI | TB | ARZ |
EAST | NORTH | SOUTH | WEST |
NE | PIT | JAX | LAC |
BUF | BAL | HOU | KC |
MIA | CIN | TEN | OAK |
NYJ | CLE | IND | DEN |
Hmm...
