The rookie salary slotting system the NFL has was probably the best thing that came out of the new collective bargaining agreement. The days when rookies would hold out of camp for more money before they ever set foot on an NFL field have been virtually eliminated.
Four days after the draft concluded Saturday evening, the Eagles have agreed to terms already with three of their rookie draft picks -- Utah CB Eric Rowe, Kansas State DB Randall Evans, and Boston College DE Brian Mihalik.
That would be half their draft class. It's a pretty safe bet that first round pick Nelson Agholor, third round pick Jordan Hicks, and sixth round pick JaCorey Shepherd should be following behind soon.
All of the Eagles rookie draft picks and a few select undrafted free agents will made available to the media on Friday.
