The Eagles are no long practically eliminated from playoff contention. After their loss to the Ravens last Sunday, they are now mathematically eliminated, and still have two games to play. If you bought tickets to this game hoping it would mean something, well, at least you can watch Carson Wentz instead of Sam Bradford.
For the first time since the Eagles' fourth game of the season against the Detroit Lions, the Birds will likely have their full starting offensive line Thursday night against the New York Giants, as Lane Johnson makes his return from suspension. The Giants will be without standout corner Janoris Jenkins and pash rusher Jason Pierre-Paul. You can find the full injury report here.
The Eagles were originally 2.5-point underdogs when Vegas initially released the lines, but they have become 1.5-point favorites. Personally I see yet another Eagles loss, as it's just too hard to justify picking the Birds to win to beat a playoff team at this point. The rest of our staff of writers disagree.
