A dog in Butler County, Pennsylvania, had to undergo surgery for more than two hours to remove a junk drawer of items from its stomach last week.
Action News 4 in Pittsburgh reports that the Weiss' family dog, Tiki, a black Labrador retriever, was not responding to treatments for vomiting and diarrhea.
After an X-ray, Dr. Hisham Ibrahim of Good Shepherd's Veterinary Hospital discovered that there were a number of unusual items that Tiki had consumed, causing her ailment.
Ibrahim and another veterinarian conducted surgery and found the following items, according to Action News 4:
The items appeared to be consumed only over the course of a few days. Luckily for Tiki and her family, a checkup on Wednesday showed that she's recovering and she is expected back for a follow-up on Friday.
