June 13, 2017
Father's Day 2017 falls on Sunday, June 18. To celebrate the man who does it all, treat him to a meal out in Philly. Dad deserves it.
While many local spots are offering specials on the holiday, don't pick a restaurant at random. Think about what dad loves most and give him a day out he'll truly enjoy.
To celebrate Father's Day on June 18, the Old City restaurant will offer dads a complimentary Cuba Libre cocktail (Don Q Añejo rum, Coca-Cola and lime) with the purchase of an entrée during brunch or dinner.
Father's Day all-you-can-eat tapas brunch will begin at 10:30 a.m. and is $28 per person.
Dinner reservations begin at 4 p.m., with Cuba Libre's new menu featuring shareable plates like the 48-hour slow-cooked Berkshire pork shank.

On June 18, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., Kensington Quarters will offer a Father's Day barbecue. The restaurant will be grilling on its back patio. Executive chef Damon Menapace will be roasting a whole pig and grilling sausages and chicken, along with sides.
The food will be served buffet-style for $30 per person. Additionally, the restaurant will have select drafts from Neshaminy Creek Brewing available for $4 a pint.

At South on Father's Day, there will be live jazz during both brunch and dinner. Enjoy a three-course prix-fixe menu at both meals. Brunch will be $30-$35 per person and dinner will be $35-$40 per person.

If dad would rather have a meal at home on Father's Day, offer to treat him to a day out on June 17 instead.
Spend the evening sampling beer, wine and cider from more than 13 area breweries and wineries at the Pennsbury Manor Brews & Bites.
Naked Brewing, Round Guys Brewing Co., Vault Brewing, Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co., Broken Goblet, Kurant Cider, Yards, Odd Logic Brewing Co., Crooked Eye, Haymaker Meadery, Blackledge Winery and Stone & Key Winery are some of the festival participants.
To eat, there will be six food trucks serving street fare.
Activities at the event include a 17th-century beer brewing demonstration and live music.
Tickets, which are $40, are limited to 500 people.
