The week before the Democratic National Convention comes to town, Dilworth Park's Greenfield Lawn will host Political Moviefest.
For four nights, beginning on July 20, there will be free outdoor movies about presidents and politics. To choose which movies to screen, the Center City District offered a vote -- in the spirit of election season.
The public voted from 12 movies with political themes, to pick the winning four:
•Wednesday, July 20: "Selma"
•Thursday, July 21: "The Manchurian Candidate"
•Friday, July 22: "The American President"
•Saturday, July 23: "All the President’s Men"
The movies are rated PG-13, except for "All the President’s Men." Each screening begins at dusk, which is roughly 9 p.m.
