Comcast slammed in Mike Huckabee tweetstorm: ‘I’d rather have Obama back as president’

Former Republican Arkansas Gov. and presidential candidate Mike Huckabee took the opportunity to tear apart telecommunications conglomerate Comcast on Twitter Monday.

Huckabee, who was a hopeful in the 2016 presidential primaries, said that Comcast's service is worse than the mafia and that he would rather have former President Barack Obama back in the administration.

"Mafia better service than @comcast," he wrote. "Sure they shoot you, but it's over with and they don't charge you for the bullet."

Huckabee is known for his colorful Twitter account, which he often uses to make political jokes. Comedian Patton Oswalt recently poked fun at the "painful" tweets on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

Huckabee also compared the Philadelphia-based company to United Airlines, which was under fire last week for forcibly removing a doctor from a Kentucky-bound flight after it had been overbooked to make way for United personnel.

Comcast replied to a tweet asking Huckabee to send the company a direct message to better help resolve the issue.

A spokesperson for Comcast said they missed Huckabee's scheduled appointment. The company apologized for the incident.

“We completely understand Governor Huckabee’s frustration and are so sorry that we missed yesterday morning’s scheduled appointment," Comcast said in a statement. "We worked to send a technician to the Governor’s home as soon as we learned about this and are happy we were able to resolve the issue that same day.”
