Bucks County teen reportedly finds razor blade in Halloween candy

The Bristol Borough Police Department is investigating a report of a razor blade allegedly found in a piece of Halloween candy in the Bucks County borough. 

According to NBC10, the investigation stems from a Facebook post by Bristol resident Jennifer Ruszin. Ruszin claims her teenage daughter's best friend picked up the sealed miniature Hershey's chocolate bar near a video store off Radcliffe Avenue in Bristol and that there was a razor blade in its center.


While the investigation continues, there have also been reports of possibly tainted Halloween candy distributed in other areas of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

In Kennett Square, Chester County, needles were reportedly found in several pieces of Halloween candyIn Gloucester County, New Jersey, a man was charged with making a false report on Monday after police said he made up a story about allegedly finding sewing needles lodged inside Halloween candy. Police said he tampered with the candy himself.
