The Barnes Foundation will host its annual plant sale on Saturday, May 6, and Sunday, May 7. The event will take place at the Barnes Arboretum, located about 25 minutes from Center City.
There will be a wide selection of plants for sale. Take home ferns, roses, lilacs, peonies, magnolias and many more varieties. Horticulture experts will be on-site to help new plant owners choose what type fits their home or garden best.
Shoppers can also tour the 12-acre arboretum and bring a picnic for lunch.
On Saturday, the sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Sunday, plants can be purchased between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
