The Fishtown Neighborhood Association (FNA) will host its annual chili cook-off on April 17. The site for 2016 is the new Fishtown music venue The Fillmore Philadelphia.
Kicking off at 12:30 p.m., the afternoon chili fest will feature dishes from both professional chefs and home-cook amateurs.
Tickets for the event are $20 for admission and unlimited chili samples. Upgrade to a $25 ticket for an added FNA pint glass. Kids 6 to 13 years of age can attend for $10; those ages 5 and under get in free.
Free Rita's water ice and a performance by local band You Do You will round out the afternoon.
